i woke up today all excited! it was the day josh was flying in! i had psych and it was good and then guitar class which totally kicked my butt. classical guitar style is hard! we had a grass practice that was okay and my teammates were all counting down the hours until josh flew in! i love my teammates so much! they were super excited which made me more excited! i went to dinner, then to a fidelity meeting and got into leah’s group, then i tried to study interp but i was too fidgety and i couldn’t sit still! so i started cleaning and took a quick shower and did my hair! i got all ready and dropped off pillows and blankets at cody’s room and got into my car and was off to omaha! 

i called my mom and talked with her for awhile while i drove! i got lost and pulled into the ghetto to check my directions! it was sketchy! i made it in time because his plane got delayed and i called jill and we talked on the phone while i waited. i was so incredibly nervous! why? i have no idea! i hadn’t seen him in two months and i was super excited! i waited at the bottom of the escalator and about everyone came down before he did. he was the only person in shorts! typical josh! words can’t describe how it felt to see him again! giving him a hug and seeing him again made the time apart worth it. that was probably the best feeling ever. 

then we hopped into my car and drove back to seward! it was really good that we had a little bit of time together before we got back! we were just talking and laughing like we usually do! it was so fun! it was weird though. it hadn’t hit me that he flew up here to see me and that he was actually there. it was really cool though! obviously we were both going through a lot of emotions!

we finally got back to seward at 1:45! cody met us outside so he could let josh in! i rushed off to bed because i had 7 AM practice!

even though he got there so late and we spent so long apart, it was all so worth it. 

i haven’t been keeping up very well…

this week went by pretty fast. we played dordt on saturday and barely pulled out a win even though we completely dominated. 

i had a decent amount of homework and was trying to get stuff done so i wouldn’t have to do much when josh gets here! 

tuesday was complete madness around here. cody and i were studying for our CPR quiz which was normal. Then tori came over and the distractions began. then i went to jonathan to give annalisa my faith and life book and i talked with her and marcie for awhile and stopped by to tell becca hi too. 

then i came back to david and montana had joined the part along with rachel and lou. i was facetiming with josh and we were all screaming and yelling at each other and being crazy and i tried to slam the door and audrey caught it… it was really funny! 

we played hastings on wednesday and i didn’t get to play so that was also a bummer. we lost to them and i think we could’ve beaten them. it’s just frustrating because we work so hard and we were playing scared.

today was long. but my wednesdays always are!

it started with CPR! we put the dummies together and i named mine lucy! but cody wouldn’t play along so he called me weird! he’s weird! then we talked about his next date with audrey :)

after class we went to chapel, then i went to faith and life. we’ve been talking about creation and it’s a hard topic to talk about because it’s only two pages in the Bible! but it’s been pretty good! then i went to lunch with monty, kels, jordan, and katrina. we read the handbook looking at the rules because kelsey’s boyfriend got in trouble because he had a bearded dragon in his room. then i went back to my room to get some stuff done and then to interp! we’re having presentations this week so it’s better than listening to blanco lecture! then i had science and we’re doing color mixing. that class is so easy it makes me want to sleep and text during it!

then i went back to my room to get ready for the game! we got our new kopion shirts! i love them! coach challenged us to score first and we did two minutes in! it was melissa to rachel! it was beautiful! it was the only goal of the game! 

i didn’t get to play and i was pretty pissed/disappointed about it. but there’s saturday to look forward to i guess! first half i sat next to jory and jaimi. jaimi asked a dumb question and i told her unicorns were on the field and for a split second she believed me! she’s so funny! second half i sat next to my buddy elyse :) gosh i love her! she makes me laugh so much! i had fun with her! some girls from the little extreme team in lincoln came to our game and we signed posters afterwards! they looked at us like we were super stars! i remember being that age and wanting to play college soccer because they were so good! it was cool! 

prof opfer and addison came to our game so i talked to those two with lou afterwards! prof opfer is great! i miss having her! it’s pretty cool that she came! rachel’s adopted grandparents from church made us all cookies! and they made sure that i got one because they remembered me! becca hoffmann is doing her field experience in lynn’s classroom! it’s crazy how connected you are in a small town! kinda freaky!

then we had subway for dinner and trent good was there… awkward! then we watched a little bit of ramona and beezus while eating nutella and animal crackers :) then we went to praise! beth spoke and i was really excited! she’s pretty awesome! she spoke about washing people’s feet by serving them and spent the rest of praise actually washing people’s feet! it was cool!

i was tired when we got back so i got ready for bed! i get to sleep in tomorrow! party!
